Sunday we will be joined by Southface Edition who will offering different kinds of graphic art designed offerings.
Here's more about Southface Edition: Inés Paulina Ramírez (Cuenca, Ecuador 1984), currently resides in Portland, Oregón. She is a queer Latinx multidisciplinary artist whose work has traveled between Mexico, the United States and Ecuador. Her work is a body of diverse geographies, crossed by the political and sociocultural experiences of Indigenous memory and inspired by the radical cultural imaginary of a borderless landscape. Through intimate and collective practice, her projects seek to initiate the process of recovery and decolonization of territory and body. Please join us Sunday to see Southface Editions work! We're excited to have plant starts and more this year from Maple Twig Medicinals on Saturday
Here's what Maple Twig Medicinal shared about their work. Supporting the self-determination of my community through growing medicinal plant starts, providing herbal/garden peer support, and crafting home-grown and -made tinctures, salves, chapsticks, and other practical and self-soothing botanicals. I am inspired by people reclaiming their relationship to ancestral plant use, personal growth, and self-care in the midst of a deeply oppressive capitalist society that perpetuates disconnection. Make sure to attend on Saturday and check out Maple Twig Medicinals' instagram and etsy. On Sunday we will be joined by Macrashea! Macrashea was at the fair last year so you may recall their beautiful work.
From Macrashea-- Macrame has become a meditation for me. A way to work through grief, a way to decompress, a way to let go, and a way to call in positivity. Ever since I made my first plant hanger a few years ago, my practice has grown to include everything from large wall hanging installations to jewelry, and I LOVE gettin knotty. I hope you like what I've been up to! Check out their instagram and etsy and make sure to attend on Sunday! QUEER CRAFT welcomes out first international vendor! BrightSparkle Designs will joining us Sunday from unceded Coast Salish Territories (Vancouver BC).
Here's more from BrightSparkle Designs: "I'm a Black, fat, queer, disabled, femme that makes functional art as adornment or armor. My pieces make statements and boldly take up space unabashedly, just like me! I work with Sterling silver, recycled gold and occasionally copper to make hand fabricated jewelry often centering semi precious gem stones. As a fat femme, I find that I make most of my pieces sized for larger bodies ie: rings sizes up to 13 or 14, necklaces with chains longer than 16", >10" bracelets and bangles." Check out more of BrightSparkle Designs' work on Instagram. On Sunday, we will have an tarotist with us offering readings througout the fair. We are delighted to have Glory Tarot join us!
Glory Tarot was founded by leo ariel, a trans nonbinary Caribbean bruja, originally from the Atlantic. I offer tarot readings and limpiezas (body & spirit cleansing). My clairvoyant and healing services focus on providing guidance to un/known issues. Too often, we see healing services or mediums that adhere to rigid binaries. My interpretations come from a trauma informed, queer, Latinx, anticapitalist, non-eurocentric perspective. Much of our struggles and hardships come from oppressive hegemonic systems/energies. My work aims to heal the affects of these energies, all while uplifting and empowering those who are most marginalized in our communities. Sessions are personalized and catered to you, each person chooses 1 of 3 spreads relevant to the answers they seek. Plan to save some time for a reading while you're at the fair! Check out Glory Tarot's instagram. We're also welcoming back the artist hournoon!
hournoon is the daydream of oliver daofu, a chinese-american, queer, nonbinary-trans person. illustration, crafts, + apparel design are all concocted in drizzly portland, or. the lowlight, highly saturated art style is inspired by 80-90's anime, monster movies + video games. hournoon will be at the fair on Saturday! We're excited to have Flying DogHeart Herb Farm back at the fair!

SlowSuds will be joining us on Sunday! Here's more from SlowSuds: "I was inspired by the slow foods movement. I wanted a skin care line with whole ingredients that didn’t contain rancid, or carcinogenic oils. I wanted something fresh, stable, of good quality and decedent, so I started making it. I also wanted it to be cost effective, low impact on the environment and accessible to customers price wise. I’ve poured over a decade of skill and love into my craft and I stand wholeheartedly behind it. I love sharing it with community." Check out SlowSuds's instagram.
